Just when you thought that the weaponized bird flu was the worst infection that humanity could face this year THEY FIND A NEW ONE!!!!  :-x Yeah, ’cause they know you’ve been sleeping well lately, you need a new reason to keep you up at night. Here it is: It’s called  CTX-M.
This one was found in seawater near the the coasts of Chile, and is resistant to nearly all antibiotics, if not all of them.
Now, I don’t know much about viruses and such but, if this thing was found in seawater, can’t it infect fish and other seafood? Could this be the cause of the mysterious fish deaths from 1 year ago? And even if the fish are immune to this thing, what if the fish can carry the bacteria and infect a person when they eat the meat?  8-O

Many of you wonder, what’s coming for 2012. Heck, I wonder that too, but looking at this kind of stuff it is clear what’s coming for 2012; Weaponized Bird Flu!!! Not even kidding, Folks. Not. Even. Kidding.  :disapprove:
Turns out some asshats at the Erasmus Medical Center in the Netherlands came to the conclusion that the Bird Flu was not deadly enough and decided to step it up a notch by researching how to make it even more contagious and letting everyone know the work-arounds and how-to’s of the weaponization of the bird flu. I love how they think that it can’t get out of control and come back to bite them in the ass. :roll:

Deadly Listeriosis Outbreak Claims 15 Lives, 84 More Are Sick!!!!

Remember how your parents used to tell you to eat your veggies and how eating healthy will make you live longer? Yeah well, it didn’t work for these people. Their parents lied to them. And not because they are a**holes but because the fruits and vaggies veggies they were eating did not made them live longer. Some of them in fact, lived shorter.
A batch of cantaloupe melons were found to be contaminated with a deadly bacteria; The Listeria monocytogenes, which causes Listeriosis;  A disease fatal in 30% of the cases!!! So far 84 people are ill and 15 more are dead from eating cantaloupe melons!
Part of the tainted harvest has been already recalled but a few crates of the malignant melons are still out there and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have no idea of where they could be since they’ve been sold and resold. That’s right, Folks, those damn melons could be anywhere!!!  :O_O:

Well, well, well, I think we started the week with the left hoof foot. Another swine-related post! This one is a little more relevant though. Turns out the swine flu is back! Yes Folks, the same one that caused the H1N1 pandemic in 2009 is now back for a second round!!! Will it be as deadly and scary as the 2009 H1N1 pandemic? I hope not.
Thank God no fatalities were reported yet according to the main article, both kids recovered and the new strain seems to be harder to spread than its predecessor but there’s an older article from a different source saying there is a death caused by the new H1N1 Swine Flu. I would keep an eye on the matter if I were you. Just in case.

No, it’s not the plot of a a zombie movie, this thing is pretty much real and may pose a threat to humanity if it goes out of control. I mean, even if you survive that shit, the thing EATS BRAINS!!! You’ll be rendered retarded disabled!!!
So far there are only three fatal victims but its potential for destruction is simply frightening and that is because this nasty little bug is nearly incurable and if that was not enough, it thrives in fresh water!
It is true that the brain-eating amoeba is a rare bug and that it is not [highly] contagious but the third victim, a 20-something year old man died from rinsing his nose. At home!! Using tap water!!!! That right there makes me completely Paranoid!
Of course the authorities denied that this tap water came from the city water supply but how many times have they been caught lying to us? I can’t even count them! And not just because I failed every single math test I’ve ever taken.

E. Coli Bacteria Spreads All Over Europe, Death Toll Raises To 18!!!

18 People died and 1600 are gravely ill in Europe from ingesting food contaminated with a rare and deadly strain of the E. coli bacteria (Not actual picture above). This strain of the E. coli bacteria has been deemed the deadliest in modern history and the World Health Organization and certain countries are already banning vegetables that come from the EU, dealing a heavy blow to the world economy. Which is understandable, I wouldn’t buy vegetables from them either. As a matter of a fact I wouldn’t buy vegetables from anyone. I don’t eat vegetables, I’m tempered in bacon and meat. And my doctor says I could die ’cause my cholesterol levels are astronomically high. Well, who’s at risk of dying from food poisoning now mr. wise-guy-doctor, huh?  8) I tell you who, NOT ME!!  :lol:

Or get rid of the canker sores doing a 10-minute daily mouthwash! I must warn you though, this is not for everyone and the abuse of this chemical can lead to some serious damage. Or maybe not, I don’t know. I advise you to read both sides of the story and decide for yourself what is best for you.
