Like many Paranoid Freaks out there, I am also a germophobe and I try to keep myself and my habitat as germ free as I possibly can. And don’t get me wrong, my bedroom still looks like a filthy pigstyle but you won’t find a single germ anywhere. I use industrial amounts of disinfectant. It makes your eyes sore if you are not used to it.
And nothing would have changed if it wasn’t because the latest news are filled with reports of deadly super-germs that might break loose at any moment, potential pandemics and plagues from the 14th century. Now I will need a whole lot more! So I thought: Why buy it if I can make it! You’ve Got to be Kidding me: Bottled Water Contain More Bacteria Than Tap Water!

Just when you thought it was safer to drink it, recent Canadian study prove beyond the veil of doubt that bottled water isn’t as clean as you think.

Researchers from C-crest Laboratories in Montreal bought and tested several different popular brands of bottled water and found many of them had heterotrophic bacteria counts that were “surprisingly high.”

Heterotrophic bacteria require an organic carbon source in order to grow.

More than 70 per cent of popular brands they tested did not meet the standards set out by the United States Pharmacopeia, a non-governmental agency that sets safety standards for medications and health care products.

70% of the popular brands!? Jesus Christ! I just bought 1000 dollars worth in water for the upcoming apocalypse! Don’t we have an FDA for this kind of affairs? I swear to God, you people are trying to starve me. Now you gonna tell me that the 5000 bucks in canned goods I bought last week are full of mercury and environmental toxins too?… Oh, they are? :eek:  Dammit! Can’t a man have a little of non-poisoned food in this world for Christ sake?! All my ‘doomsday supplies’ are a bunch of toxic waste! CURSE DAMMIT! :mad:
