Disgusting Orange Goo Oozes From The Sea In Alaska!

Kivalina Orange Substance

Now, before you jump to conclusions and start thinking that maybe part of the moon fell into the sea (You know… because it is made out of cheese and all) and rush to pack your shit to take the first plane to Alaska with a giant box of crackers I got to spoil it for you and tell you that this orange goo is not cheese. Not mozzarella, not cheddar, not even nacho cheese. I know, I’m such a party pooper. The good news is that it is not an environmental catastrophe either, so you can breath easy now (Unless you have asthma, then you should take a deep breath from your inhaler). So what exactly is this orange crap? Hit the break and find out!

Not so, though. Scientists for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration at Auke Bay in Juneau took samples of the weird orange material that was found floating in the harbor in Kivalina, 625 miles northwest of Anchorage — and also on beaches, in rainwater and in a river 150 miles away. They concluded it was no man-made nightmare at all.

Rather, it’s a large mass of microscopic eggs, researchers concluded, quieting the international alarm.

“We now think these are some sort of small crustacean egg or embryo, with a lipid oil droplet in the middle causing the orange color,” said Jeep Rice, a lead scientist at the lab. “So this is natural. It is not chemical pollution; it is not a man-made substance.”

Rice said scientists were quickly able to identify a cell structure within the material once they put it under a microscope, meaning they could “identify this as animal.”

What kind of animal? Not sure yet, nor can researchers rule out the possibility that the eggs might be toxic — samples have been sent to a NOAA lab on the East Coast for further testing.

Caviar? That is all? And whose caviar? Could this be a new species? After all, I have never heard of anything like this happening before! Most importantly, could this event be related to the thousands of dead fish at the beginning of this year?

  1. I guess that what happens when you dump oil and radioactive material into the oceans you get natures cheese.

  2. exciting news that ooze thing!

I can’t help wondering if it might be extraterrestial?! Yeah really. Since it contaminated every waterstream in a large area I think it might have fallen down with the rain and have an athmospheric origin at least. Be sure to check out the weird but true “Kerala incident” in India where something similar happened, although there were many differencies. Several astrophysicist actually believe that was from space! weird stuff lol.
