Three earthquakes struck different parts of the globe yesterday, in Indonesia, New Zealand and Colombia. Thank God there are no fatal victims reported in Indonesia or Colombia but there’s a death toll of one person in New Zealand (an elderly man) and a great deal of property damage; about 50 buildings crumbled under the 6.0 magnitude earthquake! It is worth mentioning that those buildings were already structurally damaged after the earthquake that struck the same area in February this year, but it still sucks nonetheless.
There aren’t reports of damaged buildings in Indonesia or Colombia and very fortunately there isn’t any tsunami alert either, which is a good thing, since in this cases when the earthquake hits an island there is usually a tsunami involved. Like when the fat kid jumps in the pool, except with a whole lot more casualties.

The latest violent quake to hit Christchurch has been upgraded to match the power of the devastating February shake that killed 181 people and destroyed the CBD.
The quake which hit at 2.20pm (1220 AEST) on Monday was actually 6.3-magnitude, not the 6.0 initially measured by New Zealand’s GNS Science.
The quake that hit 80 minutes earlier has also been upgraded from 5.5 to 5.7-magnitude.
The reassessment confirms what many residents believed, that the second earthquake was of the same ferocity as the February quake that crippled their city.
Monday’s twin quakes collapsed buildings, leaving 15,000 homes without power and water, and caused widespread liquefaction.

Strong earthquakes rock shaken New Zealand city – again
A strong 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Indonesia’s Sulawesi island on Monday, geologists said, but there were no immediate reports of damage or tsunami warnings issued. The undersea quake struck at a
relatively shallow depth of 13 kilometres (eight miles) around 211 kms east of Manado on Sulaw esi at 10.31pm (1431 GMT), the US Geological Survey said.
There was no warning or advisory posted on the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center website.
Indonesia’s Meteorological Service measured the quake at 6.9-magnitude but said it was unlikely to cause a tsunami.

Strong 6.2-quake rattles Indonesia
A strong earthquake of 4.7 magnitude on the Richter scale was felt in several towns of Santander and Magdalena Medio. The epicenter was in San Pablo, south of Bolivar.
According Ingeominas, the depth of the quake was less than 30 km, which indicates that it was superficial.
The quake was felt in Yondó (Antioquia), Puerto Wilches, Barrancabermeja and Sabana de Torres (Santander), and was slightly felt in some sectors of Bucaramanga.

4.7 Earthquake in Magdalena Medio, Colombia (Page links to an Article in Spanish but it is translated so it’s o.k.)
Three earthquakes, three countries and a whole lot of devastation. You would think this is the end of the story but nope. There’s more! Apparently there have been UFO sightings reported in New Zealand, just days prior to the earthquake that devastated the city of Christchurch for the second time!
The sightings occurred in Waikite Valley, about 500 miles away from Christchurch and involved this small white orb moving back and forth:

“The video was almost taken on a horizontal angle, and I believe we were only about 300 metres away from it, satellites don’t hover down 20 metres from land and hover in one spot and move around then take off over hills then race back into the clouds. We are not alone.”

We are not alone in deed. But, is this sighting connected to the recent earthquake that hit New Zealand? Could this be the New Zelandian “lights of hope“, just like the ones sighted in Japan prior/after the earthquake and tsunami? It’s very possible. Or maybe it is just a coincidence. It’s up to you to decide. In the mean time, I will be keeping an eye on this matter.
Now, if you need me, I will be donating to the relief fund for the Christchurch earthquake victims and you should do the same. You know it’s good karma.
